Default Panic attack disorder & collasping

Hi
I'm wondering if there is anybody who suffers panic attacks the same way that i do, I have the ordinary ones which I can cope with as you all know they can happen any time and any where. I started with these 8 years ago after I lost my father, they got worse as time went on and I was diagonised with panic attack disorder and acute anxiety. The problem I have is that Sunday I was having dinner in our local hotel where i go every week and for no reason at all when i got up from the table after walking a few steps i collaspsed in a total heap, my legs wouldn't work, and my speech had gone, when it did come back i was talking like a 'robot' for a short time and then i had a vicious panic attack which lasted nearly an hour. My doctor has told me it is part and parcel of panic attack disorder. By the way it was 16 years to the day that i lost my mother whether that played a part i don't know. Just wondered if anybody suffered the same, sorry to be so long.

Dian

Thank you
