Default Fainting phobia

Hello everyone i am new here.

I was wondering if you could help with a terrible fear, the fear of fainting. It has got to the point now where i avoid places where i know people faint, eg doctors, hospitals, dentists, public places. I even avoid bloody movies because i know people faint with a blood phobia. Its gotten that i have to constantly eat because i fear fainting through not eating.

I am not afraid of needles, blood etc but i get all dizzy, sweaty and panicky if i see blood and needles because i know some people faint if they see blood etc

Im just afraid of fainting. Can someone faint thorugh a fear of fainting?

For me it would be a terrible experience. If i new that fainting involved ending up on the floor then waking up i would not mind, its the feelings and loosing control that i dont like and the embarassment when waking up. I have never fainted in my life and i have had my bloods taken twice this year without fainting, although i was terrified, i went all hot and sweaty and dizzy. I also forced myself to the dentist last year and although i was shaking mad and really nervous i didnt faint.

I have to have my bloods done on Tuesday and i am so scared. I keep thinking what if this is the time i faint and the feelings will be horrible and ill be embarresed etc i already cancelled the first appointment because i was so nervous.

Is fainting a really bad experience?

Sorry if im not making sense im just nervous even talking about fainting.

Thank you
