can I just ask

I have been getting sharp shooting pains down my legs and from my elbow to wrists. Is this an anxiety symptom or not? I havent a clue on this one but they started over weekend - as though ready for me to come to work today!!!

Pretty much any physical sensation can be a symptom of anxiety, so try not to worry too much, although if the symptoms persist see a doc.

My sister who also suffers from anxiety often complains of shooting pains and there's nothing physically wrong with her.

Misha, I assure you that this symptom is ansolutely typical of those I endured and those that my clients tell me that they experience too. They are related to muscle tension, blood carbon dioxide levels and nerve sensations. Don't gie them credibility, they mean NOTHING Misha.
