I know there are worse anxiety effects but this one is serious nonetheless - after eating i am constantly bloated and feeling gassy and sick. Are there any treatments?

OK, try this.

Cut down on watery foods like salads. Eat cabbage, brocolli, cut green beans, chicken, fish. Don't eat spicy food. Cut down on dairy. Cut down on fluids in quantity. Sip water through day, don't gulp! Cut down on bread, cakes and biscuits, eat rice cakes instead. Drink chamomile tea instead of normal tea and coffee.

Eat this for a weak, do some visualisation or relaxation exercises and see how you feel. Let me know.

This is completely normal in anxiety disorders so don't worry, it will pass as you eliminate your anxiety.

as charles said it is completely normal so please do not fret. I would definately reccomend the foods he mentioned. They are all the kind of foods that will help alleviate the stomache issues.

peppermint tea is really good for digestion.

I've cut out all wheat and dairy from my diet.

I felt tired all the time, bloated, and because i was a real carbohydrate junkie, by blood sugar levels would rocket sky high after eating bread(for example) and then plummit about an hour later. I felt i was on a roller coaster and it didnt help my anxiety. Now i graze (mostly) healthy food reagularly maintaining a more even temprament.

I also have no caffine, only small amounts of sugar, and try to avoid e numbers

Dairy made me feel claggy.

I found this http://www.second-opinions.co.uk/hypoglycemia.html
