Ok. Sounds though you might be in the right place

I've been through simliar experiences. When i feel fearful and anxious i hate to be around noise, i can't concerntrate properly and talking to people is hard. I've had sleeping troubles too

Stay off sugary foods (chocolate, etc)... stay off caffeine (tea, coffee, coca cola, etc)

Please go to your doctor immediately and explain as much as possible. 6-12 months is good. I think you can conquer your difficulties soon with the right help

Tell me about yourself. Maybe theres more advice i could give

Hello Siva,

My name is Alon and I too am new to panic attacks. I started suffering from them about 3 months ago. I know what it's like to have the problems that you have described. My best advice would be to do some research into panic attacks and anxiety. Read about it on the internet. The more you read the more you will understand what you are experiencing. The more you understand, the less frightened you will be. For example, the reason why your mind is listening to the fan is becuase your brain is in "Fright and Flight mode". In other words, your brain percieves that there is going to be danger, so your senses (like hearing and sight) become sharp, so that you can "see where the danger is coming from". This is normal for anxiety and panic attacks. Just remember that there is no real threat and no danger from this. They're only sensations, they're not real. You are NOT going mad.

For your own good, please read about it all and you will not worry as much as you do now. Worrying brings on more anxiety and therefore more panic attacks.

Please feel free to reply and chat as much as you want. The more you hear from other people the better you will feel.

Alon.
