Hi everyone

Just wondered if anyone would be able to give me a bit of advice. When I get anxious I tend to feel very sick and do sometimes vomit. I know this is the bodies natural response but now I have got in to the habit that if I'm anxious and feel sick I don't eat. I am worried about my weight as I have lost weight. I know other people get the symptoms of feeling sick or they do vomit but how do you deal with it?

I know alot of people read these threads but not many people answer but if you could please give me any advice you can I'd be very grateful.

Hi gill.yeah i used to feel like this but i was never actaully sick i just thought that i might be. it caused a lot of disruption in my life if i was in a que in a shop i would feel very anxious and sick id end up walking out and going back the next day when there wasnt a que.i was also having panic attacks.i realised that if i didnt do something about it it was gonna ruin my life.i needed to relax.i brought some relaxation tapes and listened to them every day i think they were calming music ones,also the talking ones like hypnopherapy ones are the best. i hope this helps just remember to relax and try to think of other things i no its easier said than done!try to take yourself somewhere wen u feel anxious go to a lovely calming place in your head imagine that you are actually there lapping up the warm sun. i hope this helps you.:) julie good luck.
