Panic attacks , Anxiety Attacks Phobias and Anxiety

how do you guys get to sleep?, even if im tired some times i cant drop off (no meds to hand)
when im lying on my bed (as i am now) i realise/become very aware im in my body....which isnt going to last forever (woah just had a minor attack, heart going some!) and yeah it can cause me to freak out into an attack like a trigger, so essentially...any idea how you can make yourself drop of very quickly?

omg .. sleep to me is erm .. well like you a HUGE problem .. currently my sleep routine is so bad im awake all night and sleep from 8am to approx 4pm .. need to try and turn that around .. somehow .. ive tried all the stay awake right through and it seems no matter what i try night to me will always be fear fueled as i associate darkness with death .. and im petrified so i suppose to me staying awake during the night helps me a little ..
