I had the week off work which got me down, but when I'm in work I don't think my anxiety very much, I'm quite happy. I have breakfast and go to work, play snooker after work and have dinner, play games on the computer, & I go to sleep quite happy, but it's so hard to motivate yourself if you don't have to do things.
I went out for an early morning walk on Wednesday for 2 hours, but I still had the rest of the day to fill, I went to make a meal & I got a big steak knife out and all the memories of being scared of stabbing someone came back. I did the wrong thing and retreated to my room, but if I am really busy it doesn't get to me.
Rabidbadger is right, if these disdurbing thoughts scare you so much then it's against your core beliefs and you won't act on them.
Make a conscious effort to keep busy, read a book, find something you can enjoy doing, anything, it does work.
