Physical exercise

Hi all

I suffer from panic attacks daily and have done for over seven years. I am agoraphobic and almost housebound.

I have been informed from several sources (doctors, internet, articles) that physical exercise is a good way of dissipating adrenalin when a panic attack has started. The problem is, if I start to exercise my heart-rate naturally increases and my breathing becomes heavier. While these are perfectly normal physical reactions to exertion, they only serve to make my anxiety worse.

Does anyone else find this? Does anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks
Chris
