Hi Max

Please try to remember that this is a forum, not a public service, and while people are happy to help as much as they can, the odd please and thank you is very much appreciated. Also, if you were to write a detailed post about your problems, I'm sure there are other people on here who will be able to relate to the things you feel and give you the benefit of their own experience.

For commercial reasons it would be wrong of me to describe exactly what is in the Linden Method but it contains several suggestions for "distancing" yourself from the thoughts that feed anxiety and helps you to concentrate on a "normal" life rather than one that is ruled by fear.

I'm not going to tell you to buy it; in fact I'm not going to express an opinion one way or the other. One thing I will say - and I 'm sure Charles Linden would agree with me - is that it's not an overnight cure; nothing is. Like any cognitive approach to recovery, it takes time and commitment on your part.

I don't know if this helps you at all but, like I said, take part in the forum and tell us how you feel. You'd be surprised how many people feel the same.

Best of luck

Chris

How does it work, exactly? I'd be interested in finding out if any of the coping techniques I already use are part of the Linden Method, and also seeing if there's anything else I could be doing as well.
