In the USA...
The FDA asked manufacturers of SSRI and SRNI antidepressant medications to include label warnings related to the drugs' possible prenatal effects on children and people who get migraine headaches. The agency warned that children born to women who took the medications while pregnant were at risk for developing persistent pulmonary hypertension (http://kidshealth.org/parent/medical/heart/pphn.html). And, people who take migraine headaches medications, when taken in combination with SSRIs or certain SRNIs, were at risk for developing serotonin syndrome, a potentially fatal condition. The FDA warned individuals, however, not to stop taking their medication until they discussed the issue with their physicians.
