Hey...

I'm currently the newest member! :)

Basically I have been told I have anxiety/panic attacks..

It all started pretty much when I had trouble catching my breath, two trips to emergency and two trips to the doctor later, I found out there was nothing actually physically wrong, just in my head.

Even though I know what I have now, and I have started meds, I still can't entirely shake the shortness of breath. It's fine when I don't think about it but my mind always comes back to it. The meds have stopped the panic attacks but I still feel like I can't breathe properly.

Just looking for advice on how best to "retrain" myself I suppose.

Any help would be fantastic as I don't know a lot about it all yet.

Thanks.

That's what it is all about. Medicines are not gonna change the way you think, they may make it easier not to think a certain way since some sensations may be blocked out or numbed by them. When you don't think about it you have diverted your thoughts away from your worries. When you do think about it, you are adhering credibility to a worrying cycle of thoughts. And thoughts are just that, thoughts.

It's best if you redress your thinking behaviour. You shouldn't focus at all on that specific difficulty about breathing. So when you don't mind it, the problem is inexistant. This is not about ignoring a problem, this is about not creating one.

It is also about being convinced you don't want to mind, and if you do get into "trouble" (minding it) then just let it happen and don't seek any panic behind it or fear of experiencing the sensations, let it pass, allow it. A good trick to keep your mind occupied with OTHER thoughts, is a hobby and something you really enjoy doing and can live with passion. You'll prove to yourself each time that you can do things WITHOUT feeling "breathless". This'll build confidence and believe that it CAN be done and that the ingredients work. Keep on doing it, on and on each time whenever.

Peter.

I know some very effective homeopathic medicines for this disease I consulted with some doctors and took homeo medicines now I am 95% OK. Please try these medicines and let me know the results.

1. Balladona 30 2-drops 3 times a day
2. Lycopoduim 30 2-drops 3 times a day
3. Aconitum 30 2-drops 3 times a day
4. Acid Phos. Q 3-drops 2 times a day

Take regular walk in the evening and after dinnar. Take deep breath.

May Allah help you,

Noman
