anxiety, palpitatios etc

hi I suffer from the deaded anxiety attacks not full-blown panic attacks but feeling like I can't relax and that someone is sitting on my chest! then shaky symtoms like I'm cold or sometimes hot, dead feeling in the tops of my arms, just plain nasty! Anyway i was reading online about the Linden method that claims to cure 100% of anxiety, panic attacks and phobias has anyone heard of it? it costs 100 pounds sterling so I wanted to check if anyone knew anything before I parted with my money!!

Lately I think I've started having anxiety or panic attacks, but I'm not sure. Twice this week my heart began racing out of control, like I was afraid of something but I don't know what. Along with that I had a sinking feeling. Kind of a very unworldly, lonely feeling. I was really concerned that I might be going crazy. I thought about seeing a doctor but am more worried I’d
just be put on some medication. I found a list of anxiety symptoms at www.selftherapy.org , which has calmed me down a bit as it's sounds quite like what I’m experiencing. Has anyone every tried that program? Or have any other suggestions? Does this sound like anxiety??

I used to get really terrible panic attacks and had massive palpitations after my daughter had had heart surgery. I was put on propropanol (40mg 2x a day) and it worked a treat. Recently I tried to come off them (after 2 years) and felt really off for 2 days, it was terrible. Just then my GP suggested to double the dose and take it as a migraine prevention medication, as the other tablets I tried for mirgaines had terrible side effects.
My question is, does anybody here have any experience with higher doses of propropanol?

does anyone ever feel like they are going to vomit everytime they get anxious?? i suffer from the usual symptoms of palpertations swaeting and dizziness but the overwhelming nausia is the worse feeling of all and i feel like im the only one with these type of symptoms
