I really do sympathise as I going through a bad phase at the moment. The first thing that I would say is to maybe see another doctor at your surgery just to get another opinion. I have found that different doctors have different opinions on how to deal with anxiety. Maybe get someone to come with you (partner, friend or relative). I have found this helpful when I have been at my worst as they can back you up as to how bad you are feeling and can maybe push for the doctor to do something more to help. You don't say whether you have been offered counselling or medication. With regards to your job - there will be others when you feel able to return to work. Like you say it was the right decision for you. If it was adding to your anxiety then it was the right decision I'm sure. What are the financial implications of this? Will you manage financially? I'm sure that you must be entitled to some financial help if you cannot cope. Look after yourself & be strong, Best wishes Kelly chrissy 24-07-07, 01:49 PM fhffhfhfhfhfhfhfhl amanda 24-07-07, 04:15 PM Hi Chrissy - Isn`t it nice that they missed you so much. Good news too that your manager is willing to negociate different times and duties if you decide to go back. Well, you`ve got plenty of time to think about it so that takes the pressure off a bit.
