My wife is suffering from anxiety and things are going from bad to worse. It started out she just didnt want to get in the car,
Then, she wouldn't leave the house,
Now, she is so fearful and scared she is talking of life not being worth it anymore.

Please help me

i have been feeling sick like that too. my fist attack on jan 13th. i am on zoloft, clonopin, and zanax . anti anxiety drugs help in controlling panic attacks immediately. you can read my other posts on anxiety board as a guest. i just wrote them today. jan 23rd.

Anyone who reads that post might rush to the doctors for pills.

Agreed, certain pills will have a sedative affect and may stop panic attacks, but what will happen when you stop taking the drugs? Take it from me, rebound anxiety and withdrawal are on the cards.

Don't slip down this slippery road folks. There are drug free solutions!

Hell I know what charles is talking about.

Dont take meds. Even if you are in a severe anxiety state, meds are not the answer in any case.
Believe me, meds are far far worse than any anxiety because they not only aggravate anxiety in the longrun, but bring about even more symptoms.

When you have anxiety, your body is very very sensitive to any stumuli anyway. So drugs have even more influence on you in that kind of sensitive state.

Drugs dont counterbalance a chemical imbalance, they create an imbalance in the first place and even more so when you have been sensitizid because of the anxiety.
