  1st anxiety attack

last night i had my first anxiety attack i feel like crying just writing this, it was very scary the main problem is I dont really know why it came on i have suffered for anxiety for many years but got diagonsed two years ago. I have never had an attack before last night, in the end they gave me diazapam to calm me down. I just wish people would understand that
sometimes you just want a few calming words instead of pull your self together. i would love to chat with any who understands after all we are all in the same boat aren't we?

Recently I had my first anxiety attack and I must say I know how you feel. For some time, I did not even know that anxiety attack exists. With no particular reason, I thought I was having a heart attack (never had heart problems before, I am former athlete) since mu chest seemed tight and I lacked air... I read on the Net that all the symptoms I experienced are actually a result of anxiety attack... You know, they say the awareness is the first step in the healing process... I find yoga very, very helpful, but one needs to practise regularly and be persistent... I thought of trying the Linden method... Anybody with an experience with this method?
