It is quite normal when you are anxious to feel like your chest is tight or painful. Adrenalin does have an effect on the pectoral muscles and the intercostal muscles in the rib-cage. That (coupled with changes in the heart-rate) is what causes a lot of people to think they are having a heart attack when they are anxious. Chris |
