another tipchrissy 29-06-07, 11:44 AM hi everyone well after a really bad day yesterday i thought im sick of this so i went up top shops on my own, now i know i can do it as chris says its only fear not danger chrissy Travelbug 29-06-07, 02:14 PM Well done Chrissy, another quote I go by is "the anticipation is always worse than the event" I always worry about how I will be in a situation and by the time it comes around I am a nervous wreck! Once I calmed down and got on with what ever it was I get through the episode with no ill effects! Woo hoo :) rabidbadger 29-06-07, 05:54 PM Hi folks I have a theory that a lot of anxiety has its roots in impatience and a need to do things at a million miles an hour. We can't wait to see if a situation is scary so we pre-empt that by making it scary beforehand. It's as if there is no distinction between excitement and anxiety. What do you think? Chris chrissy 29-06-07, 07:42 PM hi travel bug and chris ithink you hit it on the nail chris because i think this faster pace has a lot to do with it.chrissy chrissy 29-06-07, 07:46 PM hi again went to add some more and posted it travel bug you are also right i told chris this antisipation is the worse you build your self up into a big frenzy for what how are you getting on travel bug chrissy Travelbug 02-07-07, 08:39 AM I'm doing okish at them moment. Nothing much has happened to give me any real cause for anxiety. Whilst this is good I have felt myself getting worked up about the simple things again so it has been a struggle to keep on track. I started my fitness regime yesterday and went for a jog! I was sensible about it and made sure I didn't burn out too quick so I got a good 2 mile run/walk. I have just been told about a wedding that is happening next year so that is my motivation at the moment. My biggest concern at the moment is that I have got an exam next week for work and that means travelling with a collegue to another city. I've not even thought how I am going to cope yet! I don't want to go by car as I will be nervous about the exam so a car journey would be terrible! I'm tempted to make my own way there by train and I know this will cause a few questions to be asked but it seems my only option. I don't even want to consider pulling out of it altogether chrissy 02-07-07, 10:43 AM hi travel bug you are right if no threats no panic god you guys are clever. chrissy chrissy 02-07-07, 11:41 AM hi everyone just thought i would post this might help others put a favorite cd in your pc then go to metro lyrics and sing to your favorite songs. chrissy |
