hi my doctor has prescribed me 20 mg of citrilopram i have been on 10mg for the past 2 and a half months, they didnt seem to be working as well anymore.
How is best to take them, i thought about splitting them in half and having half twice a day. Does anyone agree with this? Bit worried about being all zoned out at work to begin with.
cheers :)

Hi Geministar
20mg is the recommended dose for tackling anxiety with citalopram. I would imagine eventually they will give you 20mg tablets. While you still have 10s, I would think taking them both together would be best.
I always found that taking them first thing in the morning worked best for me - especially when increasing the dosage because your anxiety might rise a bit to start with and you don't want that when you are trying to get to sleep. Having said that, we are all different so I guess it's whatever works for you.
Please note, this advise is only based on my experience with the drug. I am not a medical professional. If you have any doubts at all, please speak to your doctor.
