Hi there everyone, I am new to this forum, have been looking for a forum on Panic Attack and found this one.
I am from Australia, and I have suffered with panic attacks for years.
The problem is that not a lot of people can understand the feelings of fear that we suffer from. I find it hard to talk to anyone in the family as they don't understand.
They have the mindset of just get on with things and it will go away.
If only it was that easy.
I have just started to see a Psychologist and am finding that there is a slight improvement in my attacks.
Some days are better than others.
I still need to take a half a valium before i go out anywhere.
Going to the shops is the worse. I used to love shopping but it is now a nightmare sometimes. So that is my story.
