:D I'm not sure I'm responding to the right place in this dialogue (which I consider to be VERY important!!! This is SUCH a widespread experience, and SO little dealt with sensibly that I welcome almost any concersation!)

MANY years ago (about 40!) I suffered from panic attacks, which were severe and lasted - off and on - over a period of several years. I will not here try to recount all this, but I am quite willing to if it would help people who have experienced these things.

All I wish to say at this point is that IN SPITE OF the TERRIBLE fears and difiiculties in dealing with them, I soon (by my 50's - I am now 75) found them to be the most productive and growth-promoting experiences in my life!
And view them in this way even MORE in my old age!

I'll be glad to share some of this in the right place and circumstances. I already have WRITTEN about them, and will share this also.
