peace of mind

ok hi im new here..

can anyone tell me how long viruses last outside the human body.

I have ocd. and i fear aids and any viruses, the smallest red dot sets me off..

i just had another attack this morning and im about to burn all the clothes i was wearing.

i need help :oops:

Viruses have different life-spans, and not all can be contagious. There are even benign viruses. As for HIV, if you've been cautious, you should have no need to obsess about it, but then, that is kinda counterintuitive to OCD.

Are you currently in therapy for the OCD? There are some wonderful techniques that can help you work through this obsession. In fact, some docs will even prescribe you drugs to alleviate the anxiety associated with the OCD while you receive therapy.
