Hello everyone,
I have joined your forum because I find myself in a similar situation to others here :(
I have always been a bit of a worrier but I have suffered anxiety and panic attacks with a bit of agoraphobia thrown in for good measure seriously for about the last 3 years now. I know now (didn't at the time) that I have suffered from depression since I was 13. I have also suffered from anorexia in the past, but I seem to have gone the opposite way now!
I feel I am through the worst of it, but occasionally still get bad days. I teach my 10 year old at home full time, as she was bullied at school, and if it wasn't for this, I wouldn't get out of bed probably, let alone the house! So this has been my saviour in a way because she would suffer as well being stuck in the house all day. Therefore, I have to force myself to go out and get exercise for her sake, more than mine! ;)
I have a very caring husband who I talk to about stuff and although he's very sympathetic, he doesn't really understand. I can't talk to other family about this, so I hope to be able get support from others here with same problems, as well as give support myself.
I hope that when I'm better and no longer have to teach my daughter that I can become a counsellor and help others with mental health problems
